Brown (Untouched).

This work is an excerpt from a project Holden began in August of 2022; a collection of chamber pieces for small percussion ensemble, in a minimalist style.

The project is inspired by the composer’s experience on Chicago’s ‘L’ trains, operated by the CTA. The “untouched” specification signifies an intentional creative decision to leave the audio completely unaltered in post.
